On the eve of Tajikistan's 20th anniversary of independence around 2010-2011, a new project introduced wooden decorative arbors, intricately inlaid with Eastern ornaments, along the paths, adding a touch of cultural artistry to the natural surroundings. Animal sculptures and benches were also placed near these arbors, enhancing the visitor's experience along the routes.

The garden, formerly known as the Botanical Garden of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was renamed Bogi 'Iram' by decision of the Dushanbe City Council, transforming it into a vibrant cultural and recreational park for residents.
