The integrated resort, which opened around 2010, was inspired by a deck of cards, a concept that shaped the distinctive three-tower design. The construction of the SkyPark and its massive pool presented significant engineering challenges, particularly in accounting for the movement of the towers due to wind and settlement over time. Parts of the pool's structure were even prefabricated in the USA before being transported to Singapore, highlighting the complex global effort involved in its creation.
