The Experiment Zones, known in Polish as 'Strefa Eksperymentowania', are the vibrant heart of the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, Poland. Located on the entire open space of the first floor, this dynamic exhibition invites visitors of all ages to step into the shoes of a scientist. Instead of observing artifacts behind glass, guests are encouraged to dive into a world of interactive displays, conducting experiments firsthand and uncovering the fundamental laws governing nature and human perception.

Housing over 200 interactive exhibits, the Experiment Zones are thoughtfully divided into two primary sections. The Copernicus Science Centre, a monumental institution named after Poland's most renowned astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus, first opened its doors in November 2010. However, the vision for such a center in Warsaw had been taking shape since the late 1990s. The 'Experiment!' exhibition, a precursor to the current zones, made its debut at the Warsaw Science Picnic in June 2006, showcasing the early commitment to hands-on science education.

The 'Strefa Eksperymentowania' as visitors experience it today was officially revamped and reopened in April 2018. This evolution saw the reimagining of previous popular exhibitions like 'Humans and Environment' and 'Light Zone' into a cohesive and expansive space dedicated to interactive discovery.
