Discover Sandland Antalya, one of the world’s largest sand sculpture exhibitions, where international artists create breathtaking sand masterpieces by the sea.

Brief History: Established in 2006 as part of the International Sand Sculpture Festival, Sandland quickly grew into one of the largest open-air sand sculpture exhibitions in the world. Artists from across the globe gather annually to create stunning works from sand and water. Notable Features: Using nearly 10,000 tons of sand, the sculptures reach up to 7 meters in height, depicting world landmarks, mythological figures, and cultural icons. Each year, themes change, ensuring a fresh visitor experience. Nighttime lighting adds dramatic effect. Fun Fact or Unique Angle: The sculptures are made without glue or cement—just compacted sand and water. Despite this, they can withstand months of display thanks to expert techniques. It’s like an outdoor art museum made entirely of sand. Current Use or Visitor Info: Open year-round, Sandland charges a modest entry fee with discounts for children and students. Tourists can walk among the sculptures, take photos, and attend seasonal workshops. Touching the sculptures is prohibited to preserve them. Evening visits are highly recommended for the illuminated displays.
